Zen: Reconnect with nature
The Zen center greets visitors with lushness and green walls that counterbalance the heavy physiotherapy machines as well as the rest of the modern architecture with glass and metal. With a counter surrounded by real plants in custom-made wall pockets and warm natural stones, the center already welcomes its patients into a world of relaxation and healing.
Safety plan
For this project I was responsible for the creation and supervision of a safety plan for the renovation of the facility. The challenge was the complete transformation of the rooms without touching the structure as well as the coordination of the many involved trades and specialists. The safety plan comes with great responsibility, as it is the basis for a smooth and safe process and is subject to sharp guidelines.
The result is a unique contemporary wellness and therapy center where patients feel comfortable as soon as they enter.

Novoli is the northernmost neighborhood of Florence, begun in the sixties during a construction boom. Today the neighborhood is still one of the most interesting areas for new contemporary constructions, including banks, university buildings, movie theaters and shopping centers. With the ecofriendly electric cable car connection to the center running down the heart of the neighborhood, both airport and train station are 5-10 minutes away!
