The library of a lifetime
The highlight of this home is without a doubt the hallway library. A real eye-catcher when you enter the apartment and of special emotional value for the owners. To accommodate the thousands of books decoratively and practically, I designed and had custom made floor to ceiling bookcases to display the treasured books along the walls of a corridor.
What makes this project special to me is the familial connection with the owners. The fact that they were so pleased with the result makes me especially proud. As well as the fact that one of the books in the library is mine – my doctoral thesis.
Browsing through old books in a modern home spa
This project combines a love of the old with modern comfort. My clients wanted to create a very cozy home, with places to relax and luxuriate. The two bathrooms were transformed into an exclusive home spa that leaves nothing to be desired.
In one bathroom I used contemporary travertine tiling as a background to the wooden cabinets. In the other bathroom I combined exquisite floor tiling with leather touch and a tower sink with designer faucet. The spa area offers space to relax with color therapy and a steam bath.

The neighborhood of Coverciano borders with the Campo di Marte neighborhood, home to sports and excitement! This apartment, situated on the top story of a building constructed in the 70s, is a short walk from the home stadium of the Fiorentina soccer team, where games are held every other Sunday and you can catch outdoor concerts during the summer. The area is also well equipped with pubs, markets and a large playground for kids of all ages.
